Motor Transport Awards 2013 - 3rd July Grosvenor House Hotel
Service to Industry Award - PETER CARROLL
Since its formation, FairFuelUK has saved the transport industry £5.5bn in fuel duty through its effective lobbying of government to halt planned rises in fuel duty. Unifying the industry behind a single effective campaign, it succeeded where individual trade associations had failed to make a convincing case to the Treasury that increasing fuel duty is not only bad for the industry, but bad for the economy.
A former haulier, Peter has created one of the most effective lobbying organisations in the country
ADD YOUR OWN COMMENTS BELOW THIS POST. THEY ARE VERY WELCOME
Congratulations!! Very well deserved, and excellent that you and the team's work has been recognised!
Sorry buy I have supported Fair Fuel for three years and there have been no posts on here for ages. I feel that you have built up your support through Facebook and have now left us high and dry! Been a very loyal supporter, even through personal attacks by trolls etc, but you have REALLY let us down :-(
Really Confused here. We have 375,000 supporters and send out emails to supporters virtually every month. Linda you are obviously not getting the emails. Please sign up on the site again and you will get them. In the last year alone we have sent 25 emails to supporters, plus we use Twitter more than Facebook and our blog. Kind regards
can we start addressing the new oil/price petrol divide?
oil goes to 115 dollars. petrol goes to 135.
few months later, oil goes to 107 dollars, petrol goes to 135....
so now, when oil goes to 115, they can push it well above 140. the mark up between oil and petrol price is growing.
THAT needs exposing and shoving on the front page!
